''Victims of the Future'' is an album by Northern Irish blues-rock guitarist, Gary Moore, released in 1983. Continuing his path in the hard rock genre, ''Victims of the Future'' was a collection of straight-out rock 'n' roll anthems (such as "Teenage Idol" and "Hold on to Love"), a mournful love ballad ("Empty Rooms", which then was redone by Moore for his 1985 ''Run for Cover'' album), a cover of the Yardbirds' "Shapes of Things", and two darker songs, with some social and political commentary: "Victims of the Future" and "Murder in the Skies", the latter being a protest against the Soviet Union's shooting down of Korean Air Flight 007. The album was released in the US with a different cover and some changes to the content: The guitar intro for "Murder in the Skies" was removed, and "Devil in Her Heart" was added. "All I Want" was omitted from the LP, but included as a bonus track on the cassette version. ==Track listing==
